Fundraising
Fundraising activities at Bancroft Elementary School are as varied and fun as the Bancroft community itself! The activities range from adult/social fundraisers such as the Fall Fundraiser to child/family driven sales fundraisers like Book it to the Finish fun run – Saturday, October 15th 8.00am. The list of fundraisers includes, but is not limited to, the following: · Fall Social with Progressive Dinner, Wine Tasting and teacher items · Book Fairs (Fall and Spring) · Bancroft Bucks Calendar Raffle · “Book it to the Finish” 5K and Fun Run · Curricular enrichment fund donations (see our new "Donate" button to the left for making donations through Pay Pal.) * Box Tops for Education (Please find a link to these forms at the bottom of this page.) The Bancroft PTO fundraises in excess of $40,000 each year, thanks to the hard work of the PTO and the participation of the Bancroft parent community. The fundraising proceeds support numerous cultural arts programs and curriculum enrichment activities for our children. A large percentage of the money generated goes directly back to the Bancroft teaching staff for use in the classroom, and for grade level programming. Last year, the Bancroft PTO funded the following: · Software for use with PTO purchased promethean boards · One More Story Please program · Gym and Recess Equipment · Media Center Books · Sit up on and cubby trays · Flip camera for visual story telling · Spelling Bee · Student Council Activities · Parent to Parent Programs · Cultural Arts Programs · and so much more!
